Bungle yes a Navy Seal migth be able to take out a few of the Iraqi royal guards but how many navy Seals are there? Not too many and besides i was talking about the common soldier not the elite of the Army.
i read in my history class that a guy named machiavelli created a book called "the price" which most major leaders and corporations read because it states real life-problems, and in one part of it it talks about how mercy and kindness are bad and will eventually make you fail... and that fear is a good thing, i mean im not gonna state all the details, but according to him and the rest of the worlds GOOD leaders would call george bush a pussy... i want to win the war but i dunno, hes all merciful and saddam is all feared and such, so wouldnt that give saddam the upper hand? the only thing that makes me think we'll win is bcuz of our vast outnumbering... either that or nukes... =D

I felt after i posted i was forgetting something, and yea duh, lol, that land was from Palestine. So Hades you were right on SOMETHING for once. As for the Russia thing... why do you continue to say Russia borders Iraq??? See, what i didn't do before with the Isreal and Palestine thing was check my facts, and I'll take the blame for that because if it's one thing, i want the facts to be straight... So, I am looking at a World Map right now and guess what... Russia DOESN'T border Iraq... Syria, Turkey, and Iran are the northern borders of Iraq. Those 120k thousand troops were heading to Iraq no matter what, they always knew they were heading there. It's just now instead of "Mopping Up", they'll actually be engaged in combat... so it's just a slight change in plan, but they were heading they anyways. And yea i did hear about the Dolphins being sent into that harbour to check for mines, which they found 2, but now that it's safe, that British ship can bring 200 tons of aid to the Iraqi people.
Please don't bad mouth Bush. He has achieved more in a single term of Presidenticy than any president could ever achieve in two. He is the most straight forward, hard-nosed man with the proper morals that could be in office.
and all of you bad mouthing Bush, think of what would have happened if we elected Gore. yeah that's right, we'd be worried about our 'lock-boxes' and the environment. and i doubt he(or many other past presidents) could have ever dealed with the Sept 11th crisis as Bush did, nor would he persue a war against terrorism.

Im sorry but the war on "terrorism" is the stupidest thing i have ever heard he should say it they way he means it " The war against America's enemies" Cause terrorists can come from anywere Including Americans terrorisng their own country. Ill have to get more info on this but i heard that there was an American guy who blew up a city or something in the US? You guys might know more about this.

Lol the biggest threats. Saddam might be the biggest threat because hes got good sicentists working with his weapons. But you think you need alot of funding to really do some damage? I mean anyone that can get a loaded gun onto a plane is a terrorist. I mean look at Osama he inherited 100 million dollars from his father and took over a country with it. 100 million isnt alot of money but he still could get people to break the US down from the inside. What im saying is that anyone who is willing to become a terrorist can be.
After all one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.

I never wanted to come to Canada. I used to live in the UAE. And North America sucks compared to the UAE. there jobs are alot better no taxes to pay. Nothing to pay at all. only some bills. There are more things to do their recreational wise. Everything wise its alot better. You just see the US as being a better country because you prolly havent ever left North America. Ive been all over the world and so far the UAE is been the best.
Dragon i think they would see from their point of view that it is freedom it doesnt matter what you think in this situation its what going on through the persons head. Many people think that the US is their enemy because they are told to think that so they take their life in order to hurt the US in anyway possible.
Unfortunately, too many people in the world have negative opinions of other cultures, nations, etc. through sheer ignorance [myself included]. Having not experienced their culture and point-of-view, you really can't make judgement about things. If someone came to the US and said:
" Guys, you're doing things all wrong. Your women's heads should be shaved bald, your men should be castrated other than the few alpha-males, your jobs should be for no pay- failure to work hard results in death, etc etc."
..the people here would be in an uproar. BUT, if that other society [lets say super-intelligent aliens or something since there really isnt an Earth-bound nation 'more powerful' than the US at this time.] is more successful than the US, they see it as the proper way, but the people here would, obviously, not see it that way. This is the problem with assuming that people in the Middle East WANT to have McDonalds, Walmarts, and women who show more than their eyes.
I love my culture here in the wasteful, Godless, hypochrisy that we call the US. However, it is not the duty of the US to impose this same culture and belief system on the rest of the world. As "uncivilized" as some other countries and cultures may be, they want to be that way and that is their right.
Having said that, I would like to put up the defensive shields before I am attacked and called a traitor or something by my fellow countrymen. I am not a bleeding-heart liberal who is protesting the war. By contrast, I am pretty far right-wing in my views, voted for Bush, the whole 9 yards. However, as in a previous post, I am undecided on this war. Sometimes I think that if the US just kept its nose out of other country's business, things might be better. Then again, I cannot condone the torture and murder of innocent civilians by a dictator either. It's a hard call and I have to lean more towards the war side at this time, but I am pretty damned close to the middle. I dunno, I know I am rambling and such, it's a bad habit of mine.
Regardless, I'll shut up and leave this post for people to pick-apart and bash me on.
if i where to choose what country to live in, i would still choose philippines. i dont know maybe its because havent been on any country.
