hhmmmm sounds like if that happened all the elites would wreck everyone.... no protection? so like if someone's army is away u can nail them 5 times and 50 other people can nail them 5 times...
lol no. in many ways this prevents large regions to get too much of a lead i think
first of all, no fame so all the elites who enjoy that 1000 fame by hitting stupid noobs who go infamous wont get the luxury of being able to produce twice as much as they should be with only the fame bonuses.
second of all, no protection after hits would mean elites could get gangbanged. right now, the 3 days of protection allows an elite time to stock up on soldiers or send their entire army away to save it etc etc. if there was no protection, then 4 good regions would have more of a chance at killing one elite than in the past. for example in ominix where there is no protection after a hit, link was first placed. in zaraz someone like link would usually stay first. he got gangbanged and razed to 0. then karnage took first. then he got gangbanged and razed. no protection helps small regions take down elites.
without politics, no one ie no elite would have the advantage of being able to raze a person with just spies. or at least itd be harder.
the only new advantage for an elite is the lack of a hitting regulations ie an elite can hit someone less than 3x there size. BUT attacking smaller people leaves them open to attack and gangbang so its not really an advantage.
and 15min gds so it wont be as long and drawn out as a normal round.

first of all, i like blitz the way it is... second of all, chaos server would kick ass, but i think 10 minute game days to compromise with reg server and blitz server.... cuz blitz is the only reason im coming back.. if thats gone... i think alot of ppl will leave or wont come back...
by the way... i hope to be returning to play zaraz again

yeah i think that 10 minute game days sounds better then 15, but instead of one or the other i think that blitz could take up half a month and chaos could take the other half(if that is possible), otherwise just have the chaos server.
I am still waiting for my Science server ..... where science has no end at 100% you could go to 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 % fame with enough tech

cb: the 'choas server' wouldn't work as well on zaraz...on ominix it is nearly impossible to attack someone and NOT kill troops...but on zaraz all you need is your defense to be double your highest opponent's offense. So once someone gets that, they just build spies and hackers and keep people at 5% effiency...forever...I think I like it

hm......but what ur saying link, is true for any server (if u get double their defense and more spies then u can win). plus im not saying get rid of rating. u still need rating
Once you murder the spies of everyone near you, 5% rating loss is no handicap
and of course it's true for any server, but if there is no fame then you can keep them at 5% efficiency, thus preventing them from rebuilding. hell...just start the server and me and my allies will demonstrate what I mean
These are going to be 30 minute game days? or 15? Maybe make it 30 minute game days until 2 real days after protection is out and then make it 10 or 15....but if the server is going to kick this much ass I don't want to miss playing it because I was asleep for the unfreeze.
Macbeth , i really dont think anyone would continue to attack somone if the sciencesdidnt have a max. I am almost positive everyone would grow relitivley at the same pace, in the end it would only make it so you have complete control of your desiniy.
Meaning noone could get rid of you and everyone would have a better chance fighting for that 1st place spot.
Of this topic and onto spies, we really need some new ideas implimented to balance the power a little. Like being able to attack spies with military and or being able have some kind of spy protection. Now killing spies with military is completly fair seeing how spies can kill hackers, ( military units double the NW of spies )

I am working on server3, blitz will stay as it is, and before server 3 is ready, I think I will utilize it for experimental server. Wait for restart on 1st, I will do my best to launch it. Report any bugs to me immediately please.
