i just realised that ominix and zaraz are exactly the same game. which was made first and i have to say zaraz attracts more peps.
does any one here paly on ominix and wot to they think of it
1) ominix is not zaraz, but they are really almost the same
2) i love ominix more, becuase it has no politics, it has no protections and spies dont lose fame.
3) i dont play ominix, because it restarts once per year and is very slow and low designed.

1- ominix is zaraz with few minor rule changes
2- i also agree with ominix being better because of the lower fame lossage using spies and (i like the politics here). but because of some of the features that ominix has that zaraz does not.
3- i also do not play ominix because of the restarts but i do use it sometimes to practice my starts. try different things see what i can leave protection with etc.
GEM at least restarts his rounds therefore Zaraz is better to play.
i like the politics....only thing i dont like abotu the politics is people like macbeth screwing em up by going in in protect and not being able to lose their vote. also noobs who are easily swayed that somehow find their way over 1k acres toward the end of the round.
just a bunch of land fat noobs with low networth just keep rackin up the land and keep there votes in ... or maybe multis of other players trying to get the votes
politics break the balance. there could be 5 perfect players against 8 very good players, and 8 would win being equal in powers. IT BREAKS the fuckin balance of the game.

I dont actually hate the politics system i just think it gives too big an advantage to the most popular, the most hated is not such a big deal but more just annoying, as i found out last round

You guys don't like politics? I may just remove it, this was an added feature that many people do like. Or what can we give to most famous people instead??
And the fame thing with spies, I will keep it. I have seen so many posts about it in Ominix and Zaraz, noone will ever agree on anything. I remove fame loss on spies and get new requests to change it back. It's gonna stay as it is, it gives more balance.
I like politics with minor tweaking. Spies fame loss maybe tweak the system there too lower it a little bit. Umm what else. oh bring back the extra attacks at least a destruct attack and the *allow criminal activity button* as it used to be more troop loss.

i remember the round when i was most hated and EvilOne was most popular.... once i sabotaged his food he did it back on me... after i stole some citizens he did it again and he won, because he was losing 5%, me 20%.... while i had no income he made more spies and Jeff (Gateway) was building some more military.. so they fucked me up..i was stronger than one of them, but they were 2 and politics. WHERE IS THE FUCKING BALANCE?

enclave, all hatred aside, you need to understand that even though you are a good player (yes, im admitting it), you need to have more than 2 allies to win a round, this is a team game, and unless you have a solid alliance with 5 or 6 (at the VERY LEAST) and some other people that dont hate you... you cant win the politics war. besides, it is POLITICS, and it makes sense if we are talking real life stuff... people who are most loved by other countries IRL can get away with more s**t without losing approval... but afganistan cant slip up once without the world despising them.... i dont know why im rambling but i think ive gotten way off topic... oh well, at least i wasted everyone elses time, too

politics is necessary, it adds more to the game. As many variables as can be usefully added definitely should be. Who likes a monotone straightforward game. Politics and minor things like fame just mean that the top people are not guaranteed victory if a challenge should arise and they happen to be not so popular at the time. Anyway, i agree with politics and i have been voted most hated before i was actually touched that so many people knew who i was in game lol. Anyway peace to all and hopefully we can get some competition up for these top dawgs who dominate even with the politics the mark of a truly good player is one who can adapt to all circumstances of the game and come out on top. The mark of a selfish prick is one who wants the game to change because they cant do good the way it is. As for you enclave, it would be smarter for you to try to get on people's good side or something, work with the game not against it. Like swimming against a rip tide, man.
it will add good to the game, removing politics. i am sure. sometimes single individuals need to be allowed to win. Wanna ally? ally and win, but not fucking politics.

the only reason waldo and nobby (no offence but its true) were anywhere near hte top is because everyone else was in an all out war and those two were free to grow
while you and your weak allies were gettin slapped around like little cunts they grew like 10 times our size....within 3 days i was half waldos size and by the last day we had his spies and hacks down to nothing

Bleeding (if it was him) must of had god knows how many spies to kill Hounds spies as when i quit last round he had over 90,000 of them, and i doubt he stopped making them. How many did you have if you dont mind me asking ???

OK so i wasn't there, but the point i'm making is that he had such a lead that he really shouldn't have been caught, but obviously was. Good job.
That only adds arguement to the game ballance that politics disrupts. Because when the numbers are that high (500k and over) to loose 5% rating when your opponent looses 20% of thier spy numbers is silly, the most popular will win EVERY time, and most likely win the round for themselves or a member of their alliance.
Rather than spy/hack ratings, perhaps most pop/hated should link to income + or - 5% income respectivly. Spies are just so powerful that to mess with them doesn't seem to me at least fair. (just my personal opinion)
most famous gives too big bonus, if you menage to kill somebody's spies once, the opponent is dead, if you lose 20% you may not be online next game days to kill more. And the opponent may recover, it happened to me in ominix, i know it, my experience shows it.

politics is like cheats in games, deadly weapon... maybe it should be renamed? something like "Sudden Death"...? The most famous will be "Master of Sudden Death", and most hated will be "A DEAD SLAVE".
well.. i am not agianst politics in whole.. actually i am against, but you could at least remove "most famous" it gives too big bonus. It Removes the balance and spoils the good game.
