If people want to do it, reply on this thread I guess and form some teams. I can do it for any number of regions, but I will have to set it up manually if I am going to limit it to certain people.
Nice idea about using it as a dedicated team battle server, i assume "tebasga" is very similar to here, i never even heard of it before now so sorry if my assumption is wrong.
If the games are only going to be for team battles, perhaps disable the messaging option, after all you can plan with your allies in the alliance board. Oh and hopefully no politics
Yeah...just to clarify for anyone who isn't familiar with it: when zaraz and ominix were both down, I programmed Tebasga (TExt BAsed Strategy GAme) as a clone of zaraz pretty much and messaged everyone that I had on my list at the time to play it.
I'll play if you don't start it until the 19th of this month. i will still be on my trip until then.

Alliances will be locked. To ensure that the right people get in, I'm setting it up so I will email you your account and password...no one will be able to register themselves.
Some protection is necessary. Probably for now I'll leave it at 150 game days.

how i feel: LESS fame loss... to encourage fighting... but to also keep 1st place from raping everything to the point where they cant do ANYTHING with their region... no politics... 20 or 15 minute gamedays plz (20 would be convenient for everyone...)

Also something to consider: Since it will be just two alliances fighting, when will it be determined over? Perhaps when the largest member of one alliance is smaller than the smallest member of the other alliance in both land and networth? Or go until all of one team gives up?
Take a vote of confidence =D when an alliance loses their vote of confidence (taken from its own members, of course) then they will be declared to have conceded. That or links idea was good as well, or just give it a set time limit or number of game days. Or it can be that there are 3 win conditions, which include all those listed here. Thoughts?
Lock alliances (maybe this time just have 2, but next time allow for 3 or 4, numbers permitting)
20minute rounds are ok...no shorter though as then it gets like S2 and I wont play.

The winner is decided by Link's and Confucious' suggestions. Would it be easy to change the politics into the "No confidence vote"? Some people may not want to say die, but it would allow a feature where a restart could be made sooner rather than later.
Contact any more players you know who would be interested...are deadpool or panic going to play? Enclave can be a captain, and I would like it if the other captain was someone who has won a round before to ensure that captains are even. Once the other captain is decided, we can do a draft on msn or something else.
As for winning, I agree with Archon that it should be the of the following 3 conditions to be met:
1. Time limit (3 weeks most likely...that is plenty time for a winner to be decided)
2. 7 out of 10 (or 70% if the alliances have more or less people than 10) vote to surrender.
3. All members of one alliance are larger in land and networth than the other alliance.
I will probably start it next Monday (unless we get the draft done before the weekend), so contact anyone else who is interested and tell them to post here.

but that has nothing to do with it, i don't care what team i'm on, i could live with being on enclave's team if he wanted me... but i could also go on the other team too.
I will post my email address for emails to be sent after the draft. Since there are so many new players that want to participate, maybe we should say that each team should have an equal number (3?) of people who have NEVER placed top 10 on server 1 (or top 3 on server 2 since there are people who primarily play s2 I guess).
(20 would be convenient for everyone...)
