Is anyone interested in playing Tebasga if I bring it back up? For those who don't know, it is a zaraz clone I programmed myself that I had running while both zaraz and ominix were down...pretty much the game is very similar to zaraz. The downside to it is that sometimes my game day update script gets shut off, my DSL goes down, etc. so pretty much it isn't always up because I don't pay for webspace.
So I guess I am just asking: is anyone interested in playing it? I would also be open to suggestions to tweak the gameplay, eg. no fame loss or something, if most of the players agreed to it.
If its not a major headache to start up maybe you should just go ahead and do it. If it was running people would def go there, at least enough for a laugh.
Jst have a round of tebasga after every round of zaraz. 15 days of zaraz then 15 days of tebasga, etc. That's what we are coming to, server1 rounds cut so short that its as long as a blitz round. That's why competition got so good recently, because a winner had to be made within days instead of weeks :-P
Ok, go to http://www.tebasga.tk and register...probably I will unfreeze it in a few days and run it until a fair amount of people are registered and then restart it when everyone knows it is there.
its back up....was only down for an hour or so....there aren't that many players so having something less than a perfect start should be manageable....cheers!

Nah I wasn't being sarcastic or malicious. I was just stating my apologies that I can't garuntee that it will always be up. The way the update script works, it should stop updating if my DSL is down during an update. If it stops for more than about four hours, I usually leave it for 12 hours and post on the main page when it will come back up so everyone has an equal chance.
I am, i had a few login problems so my start was absolutely flipping awful (even my first newbie start on ominix using farms was better than this one). I finished with 200 acres, 300 scientists, 100 spies, 50 hackers, about 1000 soldiers and science so low as to be laughable.
But I'm getting it back on track now i can login regularly . Not enough to challenge for the higher places atm, unless those above me have very poor science.
