He is the only rapper anyway decent in my opinion (eminem). I aint a racist person (it aint coz most rappers are black), I have my thoughts about illegal imigrents but thats reasonably obvious y.
I just dont like the rap stytle. Blink 182 r also a good band, Pity they've split up
kano - typical me listen to it. yes it rapping but listen carefully to the lyrics thats wat makes rap so gud the meaning behind it, personally i think rapping takers more time in doind, more clever if u think about it.
Rap game is D12 , not just 50 cent . Cant tell me s**t about the tricks of this trade , switch blade with a little switch to switch blades and switch from a 6 to a 16 in blade shits like a samurai sword a sensei.
nobody has said many punk bands... and simple plan is not punk, just to clarify to everyone, haha.... u've got pennywise, very good, rancid, okay (they're bassist is killer), Rise Against, boy sets fire, AFI, Lagwagon, the used, blink 182, basically go to Warped Tour.... as for rock, slipnot is okay... (joey jordison is a very good drummer, but mudvayne's drummer is better), gotta have ozzy (zakk wylde is awesome, but doesn't compare to Randy Rhoads) metallica keeps on going and has some great s**t, Atreyu, Thrice, can't forget Pantera and the late Dimebag Darrell who was also a killer guitarist, van halen, led zeppelin, plus anything having to do with classical music is awesome, no matter what anyone says, classical music has and forever will influence how music is made. never have really gotten into rap, not that i hate it, just hasn't appealed to me. plus some of the bands that were aforementioned.

Rap is mostly bad, those 'artists' hardly take any time to really think about their music, they just spout what they believe will be trendy. They are the biggest pussies in them usic industry (along with all the 'buzz bands,' the alternative rock bands like 3 days grace and nickelback that do the very same thing). With every rule there are exceptions, of course. Eminem and tupac are those exceptions. Thats it. LOL, jk, snoop and dre did some very interesting things too, wu tang clan was good. Basically not very many rappers deserve to be called rappers, or to even be in the music industry. Kanye west also has some worthwile music.
Have any of you ever heard of kayo dot? Not my cup of tea, but very ingenuitive. Tool is the best band I can reccomend simply because it will enhance your thinking and submerse you into a state of just plain better music. If you can listen to it long enough to absorb and understand everything that is going on, you will soon realize that most of what you have been listening to is crap. D
