I had 300 free acres of land, some farms, houses, and things you would expect to find on a good region, +60 banks.
I get attacked and lose 180 acres. Every thing is fine except that all my banks are gone and I have 180 free acres. So, the attack took 120 free and 60 banks, nothing else.
This stuff has been posted before with admin responding saying that there is a difference between acres coming in and free acres already there, But even though I was sure he was wrong then I could not prove it, Now I know that I had 300 coming in and 0 free, how could I have lost 120 free unless is was there. The guide says that free acres are taken first, but that is wrong, flat out wrong. This is at least the 3rd time it has happened to me, and I know of it happening to others.
I had more then enough free acres to cover the attack and I lost all my banks. If you still think your system is set up to do as you say, you are wrong, if you have changed it, prehaps it should say so in the guide.
Ok, after the exact same thing happened to me on the next attack that i still had the free acres to cover, and my new banks were destroyed I checked the guide and did not see anything in there about free acres being taken first, or any order for that matter. So is that it, people just assumed that free was taken first and you never bothered to correct them? or is this a real problem that needs attention?
I had free acres left after both attacks, but no banks, and I had banks before both attacks.
I didn't change anything in the guide for quite some time.
I think it will take free acres if your free acres > land lost. If it's the opposite, but you do have some free acres, then it will just take stuff randomly. I will go through the script again to see the best way of fixing this.
I've encountered a problem in S1.. i've qued 5 barracks but it did not appear in my list buildings after my building time... think this also appeared in S2...

Admin, this is really a bug. I have encountered it many times. Buildings are in progress then all of a sudden there was no more building in progress. I was not attacked.
