May-June 2002: A Glimpse of the Apocalypse
The great GEM100, Emperor of Zaraz (all hail), decided to try a two-month round. This was the end of OMINIX hegemony and the rise of the CIHS Prodigies (sayler, JaZ, Bungle, bee, Lotar and others). EvilOne, Karnage, Diablo and others disappeared and of all the OMINIX elite, only Crestien of Westwood remained. From the start, an unknown player called BasketballLand (rcspirit), known by the author as the Antichrist, took the lead early on. At first no one cared, as they believed he would surely fall. But soon he took such a lead, no one could catch up. So the forces of Zaraz gathered together to fight this great evil, this corrupter of minds. The army of the righteous, known as OUR THING, readied their armies under the supreme command of Westwood. But late in the round, Ylorc (JaZ), acting on his own instincts and against orders and stuck a mighty blow against the evil BasketballLand and gained a victory for all of mankind around the world!!- and was promptly slaughtered soon after because of the lack of back-up and reinforcements by Westwood. Then an angry argument broke out in the camp of OUR THING and blame was shifted around until Crestien of Westwood vowed he would never play again! Meanwhile, BasketballLand pillaged the lands and ended victoriously! And GEM100, Emperor of Zaraz (all hail) decided to name PrimEvil, Bball’s alliance, as victor although OUR THING had a greater NW. Some believe GEM100 was corrupted by the Antichrist….but we will never know….
Note: The author apologizes for the rampant dramatization. He had just had a spurt of imagination….
BTW, how do we decide on best alliance? NW/Player? Total NW? I am not sure, let me know your ideas... I am inclined to think NW/Player matters more than total NW, since alliance can just get many members in order to raise their NW...
I think it should be total networth, because sure an alliance could get lots of ppl, but if an alliance deserves to be the top alliance, they should be able to kill off the other alliances to finish on top in total nw. and cb, you should work on a current blitz history (tho it'd be a short history) ...better to start now then have to do so much later, for anyone to do. need any help on talking about the Reign of JustUs, talk to me or Gateway, heh.

i sent the admin the first draft of normal server history. im gonna need people to send corrections and summaries of the rounds i didnt play. i couldnt do the current round b/c its too close between link and enclave. ill start on blitz next.
also the problem with putting them on the highlighted thingy in the HoF is that some of the summaries are too long for that. also theres prolly gonna be corrections to be made.

im also doing player bios so in a few years the new players can remember us old people
heres a few examples:
GEM100 (Admin)- “Emperor of Zaraz”- The noble GEM100 is currently one of the best OMINIX players still playing. He decided to create Zaraz for one reason or another and is currently Admin of the game. His notable attributes are his laziness, his failure to eliminate the multi problem, his habit of banning the wrong people and his inability to start rounds on time.
EvilOne- “The Destroyer”- One of the best players of Zaraz, this OMINIX elite has won a total of three normal Zaraz rounds. He is known for chat room sex, superb starts and bad spelling.
Panic- “Death”- Another one of the best players of Zaraz is Panic. Although he usually sticks to OMINIX, Panic (aka Spears) has recently returned to Zaraz. In the past he has won two Zaraz normal rounds. Panic is known for his excellent playing ability and his fame in OMINIX.
Odin- “Strategy King”- Another on of the best players of Zaraz, Odin is known for his cunning strategical mind and his useful spreadsheets. He is the master of the comeback and has won a blitz round. Odin is usually a lone wolf, deciding against joining a good alliance. He is also known for using (parentheses) where they are not needed.
Enclave- “Evil Incarnate”- This Latvian prodigy took Zaraz by storm during Fall 2002. As of July 2003, he had won three normal rounds. He, like Panic, is known for all-round playing ability and also for his horrible English.
Gateway (Jeff)- “The Machiavellian Prince”- Known for his strong tactical mind, Gateway has never stopped at anything to gain power. This attribute has drawn strong criticism but has thrown Gateway to the top. He has won the greatest number of rounds than anyone else, 4 blitz and 3 normal rounds. He has great playing skill and is also known for creating large multi alliances of top20 player (ie the Gateway alliance in the old days) and for picking on the author.

extract from TCO history when we 1st took power. (round 7 i think)
The Alliance Takes Power... When the second server was made The Alliance saw it as an opportunity to prove themselves Paul was elected leader and the new round was looking promising. The strategy employed by the Demo Squad was tried again. They attacked right out of the gate and promptly took over the top spots as Prime Minister of Canada, Alpha of Omega, Turbo of Paradoxx, Evil One of Darklandz and Grandfather of the Mafia. They added members to The Alliance including PoW and Terra to strengthen their numbers. Unfortunately, Psycho and his band of hooligans gangbanged them because of their low fame. Only Omega, PoW and Terra survived. The rest were forced to restart. Canada restarted as Boy of the Hood, Mafia as Male of Female, Paradoxx restarted as Korea MIK, Evil One as 1 of 2. Psycho and his crew had made the game completely boring. If anyone attacked their region was destroyed. If you posted something in the forums you were a target. This was broken in 2 turns when Psycho and all of his crew were destroyed and Ominix was liberated. Although there were suicide attack that wiped out Boy of the Hood it was ultimately successful and despite his prophecy Psycho did not return to retake the round.

um pretty much everyone is still pv-1. look even evilone is pv-2. GEM is just lazy. and i dont see myself talking like a pro. the admin asked me to write a history and thats what im doin. so shut the f**k up ya dumb newb.
